• Score needed to get in
2025 cut-offs vary by study option or admission route; they change every year. i

2025 published cut-offs: 1.2 german grade (coordination phase, performance quota (grade)); 1.6 german grade (coordination phase, university quota (grade)); 38 dosv points (coordination phase, university quota (grade plus waiting-time points)). Cut-offs differ by admission route or study option; check the relevant published cut-off yourself. They change every year.

Applicants are ranked by german grade; the highest get the places. The cut-off is the lowest score that got a place, so it moves with each year's applicants.

Earlier cut-offs: 1 in 2024 (coordination phase, performance quota (grade)), 1.3 in 2024 (coordination phase, university quota (grade)), 60 in 2024 (coordination phase, university quota (grade plus waiting-time points)), 1.2 in 2023 (coordination phase, performance quota (grade)), 1.6 in 2023 (coordination phase, university quota (grade)), 47 in 2023 (coordination phase, university quota (grade plus waiting-time points)).

• How applicants are picked
Ranked by school grades; the highest get the places i

HHU ranks applicants in NC/DoSV quotas using entrance qualification grades; one university quota also combines grade and waiting-time points, with ties resolved by lottery. These are German-scale historical cutoffs, not VWO thresholds.
